Electrical Engineer I
AECOM is seeking a Electrical Engineer I for a position in our Overland Park, KS location
Position Description or Typical Responsibilities:
+ Under direct supervision, will complete the following engineering assignments:
+ Develops engineering deliverables such as lists, one lines, schematics, and construction drawings
+ Uses engineering software to perform tasks
+ Generate specifications for purchase of material, equipment, systems, services, or construction
+ Prepares calculations
+ Collects data and information to complete tasks
+ Reviews vendor documents for accuracy
+ Performs material take-offs
+ Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from a 4 year accredited program.
+ No experience required.
+ Prior internship and/or related consulting experience.
+ EIT Certification.
+ Coursework in power plant fundementals with a focus on electrical power systems
+ Load flow and fault analysis software experience such as ETAP or similar
+ 3.0 or above GPA.
+ Previous internships with an engineering firm in the power industry
+ Qualified applicants who are offered a position must pass a pre-employment substance abuse test.
+ This position does not include sponsorship for United States work authorization.
+ Relocation and per diem support are not available for this position.
