Job Description

Reporting to Operations Manager, serves as the supervisor of the right-of-way contractor workforce and as necessary distribution field employees in activities of constructing and maintaining distribution power lines. Ensure safe and efficient use of contractor and cooperative personnel and equipment while working on energized lines, structures and equipment involving electric distribution in the highest regards to the Cooperatives safety policy and OSHA requirements.

High school graduate or equivalency required. Prior experience working in the construction and maintenance of an electric distribution utility is desirable. Must demonstrate supervisory and leadership abilities.  Should possess a working knowledge of all types of metering, substation operations, sectionalizing equipment, regulators and other major apparatus as well as the installation of transformer and transformer banks and be able to assist those working for them.
