Job Description

The position of Engineering Assistant requires a high level of problem solving, interpersonal and communication skills.  As an Engineering Assistant you will apply field engineering methods to assist in the layout and design of overhead and underground distribution power lines, prepare staking sheets/sketches for construction and/or Right of Way projects.

This position requires an Associates Degree in related field or High School Diploma with   4 years experience in staking/sketching/designing for an electrical distribution/transmission utility or related field. Applicants will be required to demonstrate proficiency in working with Microsoft Software: (Excel, Word and Outlook). Working knowledge of Computer Aided Design, surveying instruments, and post secondary courses in algebra, trigonometry and geometry are highly desired.
