Job Description :
Boston-Power, Inc. is currently seeking a highly motivated, driven and focused Sales Manager, who can operate effectively at the strategic and tactical levels, to develop and drive revenue from new business in the European large format, portable power and energy storage markets. In this highly visible role your primary function is to close on sales revenue targets within the European markets. Initially reporting to Boston-Power’s Vice President of Sales, and based in your home office in Europe, this is a highly competitive and challenging role where your compensation will be tied directly to revenue generation. You will also provide input on our go-to-market strategy for a ground breaking, first to market, technical product. As a leader in our dynamic pre-IPO company, you will work closely with our Asia, Europe and US-based sales, marketing, business development and technical teams. This is an excellent opportunity for a proven sales manager to join a dynamic and professionally rewarding company- delivering adaptive, reliable and scalable energy storage platforms that meet the requirements of next generation energy storage.
Responsibilities
· Achieve and exceed Boston-Power’s quarterly and annual sales revenue goals;
· Create European sales target lists and identify appropriate decision makers within target companies;
· Drive the complete sales process and life cycle from initial contact with prospect(s) through to contract closing and then to successful project handover to internal production teams for contract fulfillment;
· Develop and present insightful and effective sales proposals and contracts;
· Mobilize support from internal teams in order to deliver on sales commitments;
· Demonstrate and exemplify professional and impactful standards in relation to all written and verbal communication with clients.
Requirements
· Bachelors Degree minimum, MBA preferred;
· Minimum seven (7) years experience within a European based sales management role in the hi-technology sector is required;
· Europe based with a responsible, mature and professional disposition;
· Ability and willingness to work from home and to travel to European based customer sites, sometimes on short notice and for extended periods required;
· Proven track record of closing high-volume European sales required;
· High energy, hands-on start-up mentality with an internal drive to succeed required;
· Extensive European customer contacts with the ability to leverage those resources required;
· Ability and willingness to travel internationally on an as needed basis;
· Successful and consistently adept at closing sales targets;
· Fluid style and abilities, demonstrating a track record of increasing responsibility within high profile sales environments;
· Genuine enthusiasm, and excellent working knowledge of the complete sales life cycle;
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
· Superior customer service and follow through abilities required.
