Entry-level Electrical Engineer
We seek an Electrical Engineer to provide electrical, communications, fire alarm and process control design services in water and wastewater treatment plant facilities, pump stations and lift stations. They will assist in preparation of plans, specifications and cost opinions for design projects as well as performing electrical system computer modeling for short circuit, load flow, protective device coordination and arc-flash studies.
Experience: Minimum of 0-5 years of prior experience in engineering and performing design and construction services. Experience with or interest in learning short circuit, load flow, coordination and arc-flash studies using computer modeling. Experience with or interest in learning 3D design using Autodesk REVIT. Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team on interesting and complex projects.
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering is required. Engineer Intern (EIT) enrollment or the ability to achieve Illinois Engineer Intern (EIT) within one year of employment is also required.
