Entry-Level Electrical Engineer
Mead & Hunt, Inc., a nationally recognized professional services consulting firm, has a position available for an entry-level electrical engineer.
Responsibilities include preparing electrical engineering documents; assisting with the analysis, preparation or modification of reports, plans, schedules, studies, and designs for projects; performing electrical design calculations; and assisting with the preparation of design and construction budgets. Additional duties may include attending client meetings and/or serving as on-site project representative. Travel will be required.
The successful candidate must have a bachelor's degree (or higher) in electrical or architectural engineering (with an electrical emphasis) from an accredited four-year college or university or be able to obtain degree within three months.
The ideal candidate will have any/all of the following: experience with design of building electrical systems such as low- and medium-voltage power distribution, fire alarm, and lighting (indoor and outdoor); experience with 3D building modeling software (Revit preferred); EIT certification; experience with lighting design software (AGI preferred), power distribution design software (SKM Power Tools and EasyPower preferred), and Microsoft Office software; general knowledge of applicable regulatory codes.
