Electrical Engineer I, II, III or Sr.
This position is the entering professional engineering level. Individual normally work under close supervision; performs a variety of projects that have specific instructions and expected results.
Education & Experience
B. S. Degree in Electrical Engineering
Ability to use formal engineering training in practical application to Transmission assignments. Familiarity with advanced analytical tools such as SQL Server Management Studio, R, and Power BI Desktop a plus.
Identifies opportunities for improvement and/or suggests improved methods.
Gathers, correlates, and analyzes specific data using established procedures.
Performs detailed and/or routine engineering assignments involving established processes, tests and analysis.
Performs a variety of routine tasks that will improve the individual’s familiarization with the engineering methods, practices, and programs of the Company.
Supports Transmission operating and maintenance functions with engineering analysis, troubleshooting, problem identification, problem resolution activities.
Assists Senior Engineers and/or Engineer II and III with large projects, as needed.
Assists with the development of Transmission engineering goals, objectives, budgets, programs and procedures.
Plans and controls all activities so as to provide an accident-free work place.
Regularly reviews assignments to assure optimum efficiency and cost effectiveness.
Directs the activities of coops.
Performs other duties as directed by management.
